I have been involved in Swingsters for a year. I got interested because I've always loved to dance and it was a great way to get involved in school. It has taught me discipline, that everything doesn't always go as you want it to and I've learned to accept that. I've also learned a lot of leadership skills and gained lifetime friends. I volunteer with UT Southwestern. My favorite subject in school is math because its a challenge and history because it is very interesting how the world has become what it is today. I also participate in karate.
