Grade: Sophomore
Hometown: Rowlett
This is my first year on Swingsters, and I am so greatful to be a part of the team. Ever since I performed with them at homecoming when I was on Lariats, I knew I wanted to be a Swingster. I am also very involved with my church's youth group. I am a leader at the middle school and high school worship nights. I volunteer at Cornerstone Kitchen in Dallas, which is a homeless shelter and I lead church and citywide prayer walks in Rockwall. Also, along with Alisa, I lead a bible study just for Swingsters! And at Sachse, I am a member of The Breakfast Club, Circles, and Student Council. The most important thing I have learned from my experiences with Swingsters is how to be a better leader, and I have made so many friends. My favorite subject in school is Spanish, because I love learning a new language that I know will be useful later in life and it is so much fun.! After high school I plan to attend TCU and study early childhood education to eventually become a kindergarten teacher. Also, I hope to be a TCU Showgirl. |
